Who’s my audience and where are they?
In setting up this site I have noticed lots of different people visit it who I would not necessarily have expected – a surprising thing though is the motivations for people wanting to look at my site.
I wanted primarily for it to be a place that anyone can visit, see what?s going on, take some time out of their lives to see what?s going on in mine, and just for some people to click on for mild amusement.
There are those though have a bit more than a passing interest and general intrigue – think that they are going to get something more ambitious and fulfilling from viewing my site and the various links.
It is never my intention to deliver anything but pleasant and positive material and means.
I am now aware that there are people who are drawn to using my site in order to bring about negative responses – My message to them is simple.
If negativity and ill-feeling are the things that you want to see, it would be a far better use of your time and less laborious to simply look in a mirror, rather than spend time clicking around online.
I want to take the time to spread good feeling to everyone that follows my blogs, and similar material from others – and send out positive thoughts to everyone – After all I am optimistic that ultimately, all anybody should ever want is simply to be happy.
Happiness in it?s sincerest forms resides with those that it radiates from and the only reason that misery spreads like fire is that misery loves company, most.
To be happy and attentive, it is easy to instill these values in others.
Here is a passage I like to read often – I hope it makes others feel as good about themselves as I frequently do.
?Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won?t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It?s not just in some of us; it?s in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.?
